The last few months, we’ve been talking about the ancillary products that we offer to make the client experience that much better. These include our real estate services of buying, selling, and investing; our wide variety of mortgage loans and refinancing options; and our down payment assistance to help buyers. However, my favorite is our insurance.

Today I want to highlight one of my favorite places to eat in the Charlotte area that’s sure to have something you like, whatever you’re into: Optimist Hall.
Located just past Uptown near North Davidson, Optimist Hall is the Charlotte area’s newest and largest food hall, with fantastic indoor and outdoor seating and complimentary Wi-Fi. It’s a great place to focus yourself on the work week ahead or gather with friends for happy hour or brunch.
Optimist Hall has 21 different food and drink stalls with every type of food you or your family could ever imagine. If you’re obsessed with sushi but the rest of your family isn’t, don’t worry—here, you can get some of the best sushi around while your family visits the taco stalls.
If you’re trying to find a quiet place to work, you can start your day by coming here when Undercurrent Coffee opens at 7 a.m. Then you can work hard until lunch and come and take a well-deserved break with some delicious Mexican food and duckpin bowling at el Thrifty. (el Thrifty is where our company had our Christmas party last year, and I have to say that it was awesome. They had golf simulators, basketball, shuffleboard, and even Pong!) Then you can finish your day strong before clocking out at five to enjoy a local North Carolina beer from Fonta Flora or a fancy cocktail at Billy Sunday’s.
Optimist Hall has it all.
If for some crazy reason you decided to eat before you came here, you can work up an appetite by checking out some of the local vendors who aren’t focused on food. For example, there’s a beautiful paper store called Archer Paper Goods that can inspire anyone to pick up journaling, or at least give you a good chuckle while browning their hand-printed cards section. Also, be sure to check out the latest addition to Optimist Hall, Paradisio, which is a plant paradise for anyone who has or aspires to have a green thumb.
As you can see, Optimist Hall has it all. I personally love coming here; I make a stop at least once a week, and I highly recommend that you check it out.
