A Charlotte Native with Deep Community Roots

Mimi Hsu is a true Charlotte native who has spent her entire life watching the Queen City evolve into one of the nation’s fastest-growing metropolitan areas. Although she considered moving away several times, Charlotte has always remained home, giving her a unique perspective on the area’s neighborhoods, growth patterns, and long-term development.

She attended Elon University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with aspirations of becoming a social worker or leading a nonprofit organization. While her career path ultimately shifted, her passion for helping others remained at the center of everything she does today.

That foundation continues to influence her approach by emphasizing service, relationships, and helping people create meaningful opportunities both personally and professionally.

More Than a Decade of Growth with High Performance Real Estate Advisors

Mimi joined High Performance Real Estate Advisors in 2012 and has been an integral part of the organization’s growth ever since. Throughout her career, she has worked in nearly every role within the company, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the systems, processes, and people that drive long-term success.

Over the years, she has helped transform HPREA from a team closing approximately 26 transactions annually into an organization that now facilitates more than 200 transactions each year.

Her experience allows her to contribute far beyond traditional real estate responsibilities. Today, she helps coach top-performing agents, develops systems that improve organizational efficiency, supports multiple company entities, and plays an active role in recruiting talent that aligns with the team’s culture and long-term vision.

Her ability to balance operational leadership with relationship-building has become a significant part of HPREA’s continued growth.

Her leadership helps ensure clients benefit from established systems and a team environment designed to create consistency from beginning to end.

A Passion for Learning, Adventure, and New Experiences

Outside of work, Mimi pursues a wide variety of interests that reflect her adventurous personality and lifelong commitment to growth. She is an avid reader with ambitious personal goals, including reading hundreds of books each year across numerous topics and genres.

She also enjoys playing pickleball, discovering new restaurants throughout Charlotte and beyond, and embracing experiences that push her outside her comfort zone. From skydiving and scuba diving to bungee jumping, snowboarding, and swimming with sharks, Mimi enjoys challenging herself through new adventures.

Travel remains another significant passion, and she has accomplished the remarkable achievement of visiting all seven continents while continuing to add new countries to her growing list of destinations.
