Field Operations and Project Coordination with Sloan Smith

A People-First Professional with Deep Charlotte Roots

Although originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Sloan Smith has called Charlotte home since the age of five. Growing up in the area has given her a strong connection to the community and an appreciation for the relationships that make Charlotte one of the country’s fastest-growing cities.

Sloan graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, a field that strengthened her analytical thinking, communication skills, and desire to serve others. Her passion for helping people also led her to volunteer as a Guardian Ad Litem in Mecklenburg County, advocating for the well-being of children and families throughout the community.

Outside of work, Sloan embraces adventure and lifelong learning. She is a former licensed private pilot and has traveled extensively throughout the world, visiting three continents, 15 countries, and 42 European cities, including spending nine months living abroad in Madrid, Spain.

Today, she enjoys life in Charlotte with her fiancée, Meghan, and their dog, Remi Belle.

Supporting Transactions Through Organization and Communication

Sloan began her real estate career in 2022 as a Transaction Coordinator specializing in short sales and distressed properties. In that role, she quickly learned the importance of communication, attention to detail, and keeping multiple moving pieces organized throughout complex transactions.

Her responsibilities included maintaining communication between clients, agents, and lien holders while helping coordinate the numerous details required to keep transactions progressing efficiently.

Over time, her role expanded to include marketing support, MLS management, showing coordination, and working with third-party vendors, allowing her to develop a comprehensive understanding of the systems and processes that support successful real estate operations.

That experience continues to influence the way she approaches every project today.

Field Coordination That Supports the Entire HPREA Team

Today, Sloan serves as Field Coordinator with High Performance Real Estate Advisors, powered by Keller Williams Realty in Charlotte, where she helps support day-to-day operations that keep the organization running efficiently.

Her responsibilities include coordinating open house logistics, managing sign and lockbox placement, delivering listing materials, organizing supplies, and assisting with team event coordination.

Many of the behind-the-scenes details that clients may never see are carefully managed through her efforts, helping create a consistent and professional experience across the organization.

Her work supports both the internal team and the clients they serve, ensuring projects stay organized, timelines remain on track, and resources are available when needed.
