Here are some great fall activities here in the Greater Charlotte area.
Are you into fall colors, the cooler temperatures, pumpkins, and apples? Then you’re going to love this lineup of fall activities in the Charlotte area:
First, head on over to Bush-N-Vine Farm. It’s a pick-your-own pumpkin farm in York, South Carolina, with a delicious snack counter and farmer’s market to go with it. Some of the highlights include a chicken coop, pumpkins of all sizes, and you can pick sunflowers when the season is right. I highly recommend the delicious strawberry donuts as well.
Just five miles up the road is Windy Hill Orchard and Cider Mill. This pick-your-own apple orchard has plenty of outdoor seating, flights of cider, and a small country store filled with apple-based items. Why not grab an apple cider donut as well?
A ton of local breweries have fantastic outdoor patios.
Finally, let’s talk about one of my favorite Halloween events. If you love amusement parks and Halloween, Scarowinds is the place to be. The Tunnel of Terror car wash in Belmont and the 901 Nightmare are both spooky favorites of ours. A ton of breweries around here have great fall patios as well.
For next month’s video, we’re going to focus on where to take your family that comes into town for the holidays. Hint: You’re going to be hungry, so don’t miss next month’s episode.
