Where To Go In Charlotte: Healthy Food Roundup - High Performance Real Estate Advisors

Here are six healthy restaurants in our area to try out in 2022.

We’re so glad to be in 2022. January is always special to me because we’re ending one year and beginning another, and it’s like you’re getting a fresh start. Here at High Performance Real Estate Advisors, we aim for growth—not just professionally, but personally too, and not just mentally, but physically as well. With that in mind, we’re sharing Where To Go In Charlotte if you’re into healthy food:

Clean Juice is one of my favorite places; it changed my life. In January 2021, I was about 30 pounds heavier than I am right now, and I credit much of my weight loss to Clean Juice because they kept me focused in the morning with a good meal, like “the intense one,” a juice that includes kale, avocados, spinach, lemon, apples, and all kinds of all-natural good stuff for you. I also like the lemon juice they offer that has turmeric and a few other things in it. Additionally, they have excellent food, including wraps, sandwiches, special toasts, and more.

“We aim for growth—not just professionally, but personally too.”

Clean Juice is a faith-based organization that was founded right here in Charlotte in 2014 by Landon and Kat Eckles. They’ve now expanded to around 100 locations in 16 states. You won’t regret checking out Clean Juice, and they’re all over the Charlotte region. I’m just going to sip my intense one before we head to the next location…

Gréco Fresh Grille is a local Charlotte chain known for delicious and quick Greek food. With seven locations from Fort Mill to South Park to Matthews, it’s a fantastic place for a greek salad or a gyro with hummus, which is my favorite.

Next up is Kid Cashew, located in Dillworth. This is an awesome place to order cocktails and small plates to share or get delicious salads, soups, and organic burgers just for you. A couple of interesting menu items are the wood-fire grilled Spanish octopus and the Impossible ‘burger’ gyro.

Luna’s Living Kitchen is located in Southend and completely vegetarian, but don’t let that stop you from visiting if you’re not usually a fan of that. I most enjoyed the lentil chili bowl and the flatbread. You won’t even miss the meat, I promise.

We can’t finish our healthy restaurant roundup without mentioning Yafo Kitchen, another great Greek option with three locations in the area, and Flower Child, a nationwide chain that emphasizes fresh ingredients. You have to try the salmon and sweet potatoes!

All these restaurants are just the tip of the iceberg (lettuce, get it?). There are many other places in Charlotte to find a tasty, healthy meal. I look forward to growing with you in 2022.
